Collum neck fracture in a child, Links

patient on a fracture traction table: we couldn't achieve closed reduction. So we could try to reduce using percutaneous pin-sticks, but we preferred to do open reduction

short anterior approach (distal to the SIAS for 6 cm) and reduction of the fracture. Percutaneous cannulated 4.5 screws which do not cross the growth plate. The fracture was stable (anatomic reduction) and the screws had a good grip. Otherwise we had crossed the growth plate or used K-wires (4-5).
