Exostosis collum femoris
Woman affected by multiple cartilagineous exostosis disease. She suffered from uncontrollable hip pain. Origin of the hip pain was an impingement conflict between the enlarged femural neck and the hip labrum. The pain was not controlled by pain killers. We planned surgery treatment of the left hip.
after surgery the patient has a clear reduction of pain. She is walking with crutches and without weigth bearing.
5/2018: 4 months after surgery she was satisfied, doesn't need painkillers and walked without pain. Hardware removal is planned in about 2 years (after corticalization of the femoral neck)
